eBuddy Mobile Internet becomes eBuddy Lite Messenger

With Messenger news being very slow these days, I'm going to pick up on some of the things I missed last December. For starters, eBuddy recently relaunched their web-based version for mobile devices as eBuddy Lite Messenger. The built-from-scratch version has several major improvements over the previous, 3-year-old one:
- Log in to all your accounts simultaneously and get one unified buddy list. - Google Talk is now accessible as well (next to Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! and AOL! IM). - Every default emoticon on each network is supported. - Engage in multiple conversations at once. - Add/block/delete contacts. - Show offline contacts. - Choose from thirteen languages. - Set your status and personal (away) message. - Disable all images to reduce mobile data costs.
>> Point your device's browser to m.ebuddy.com for eBuddy Lite. |

Yet another free emoticon pack: unleash the beast

Microsoft lately is striking off more free emoticons packs than you can shake a stick, which can only mean the opt-out search/homepage takeover that comes with them is paying off. Here's yet another one, which Messer Frackounet reported to have received through an e-mail. It features 20 free animal emoticons.
>> Download the Animal Emoticon Pack (direct download) or from the homepage (French).
NOTE: Untick the pre-checked options during the setup if you don't want to set your default search/homepage to Microsoft's!
>> Browse our own 120 animal emoticons and 204 animated animal emoticons.
