What are MSN Emoticon Fonts?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. With Emoticon Fonts you can take that literally, because MSN emoticons have never been so explicit and the number of words are countless!

Emoticon Fonts are complete alphabet sets (and sometimes numbers and symbols too) that can be imported as Custom Emoticons into MSN Messenger and can be used to form short words. So, instead of using the boring Windows fonts like Arial, Times New Roman and Verdana, you can now add a lot of schwung to your conversations with these flashy or stylish letters. Here's an example, demonstrating the very first emoticon font EVER released (May, 2003): Wacky Alphabet by Ollie.

At the moment, MSN Messenger 6 and MSN Messenger 7 only allow you to send a maximum of 5 different custom emoticons, so your message can contain only 5 unique letters. Here are some examples of valid words or expressions:

hello, hey!, hola, brb, lmfao, rofl, mess.be, kiss, luv ya, bye bye, funky, chihuahua (yes, that's only five), ciao!, cya!, etc. (yup, even etc. is one, but I really meant etcetera... damn, that's another one!... as you can see, the possibilities are endless!)

>> You can install free MSN Emoticon Fonts automatically into MSN Messenger 7 using CustoMess for MSN Messenger.

>> If you're using MSN Messenger 6, you can download the Freemoticons Emoticon Fonts instead.
