Because Microsoft has decided to make a Contact Card entry point out of clicking your own MSN Display Picture in the dashboard, that's why. Personally, I really can't grow accustomed to it because it used to be a path to your MSN Display Picture collection in the first handful of MSN Messenger 7 BETAs. Enter: Mess Patch (v7.0.0777) which comes with the option to reverse the UI change back to like it was! Download Mess Patch for MSN Messenger 7.0.0777 and from the Main Windows Options menu, select Open Display Picture Dialog Upon DP Click.
