Does Bill Gates have any influence on the final MSN Messenger product?

You might wonder if and to what extent Microsoft's CEO Bill Gates participates in the MSN Messenger product development. We will probably never know in detail, but Roger, UI and Customer Experience tester for MSN Messenger informed us that "as the Chief Software Architect, Mr. Gates has a great deal of feedback for MSN Messenger."

And I've been told he gets his MSN Emoticons from Mess with MSN Messenger ;)
