Can I stop the MSN Today popup?

MSN Today is a popup window that appears by default when signing into MSN Messenger. This popup provides you with (sometimes useful) information about the many different MSN services, like Hotmail and Search, as well as other stuff like the latest news in the world or in Entertainment. About 100 million people see the MSN Today popup daily, but many of them close the window right away. Here are the instructions how to remove MSN Today from the sign in process and stop it from appearing:

Remove MSN Today in MSN Messenger 7:

1) Click Tools from the top menu in MSN Messenger and select Options from the dropdown.

2) In the Options window, select General from the list to the left. Look for the options under Sign in and uncheck the box in front of Display MSN Today when Messenger signs in.

(NOTE: You can also remove the MSN Today button in your main MSN Messenger window using Mess Patch, available from our download section).

Block MSN Today in MSN Messenger 6:

1) Click Tools from the top menu in MSN Messenger and select Options from the dropdown.

2) In the Options window, click the General tab at the top. Look for the options under Sign in and uncheck the box in front of Display MSN Today when Messenger signs in.
