I’ve added another MSN 5.0 skin to the downloads section. The author, Xero, has recreated the icons we saw in the MSN Business Messenger screenshots all that time ago, and he’s done a very good job at it too. Check out his skin here.

Microsoft seem to have stopped support for tabs in msn messenger 4.x, a message comes up if you go to any tabs other than the alerts tab (message here)

ElectroPhreak has created a polygame patch for the new MSN Messenger (5.0.537) this should be the final version, as it is going to be released tomorrow. get the patch here!

A new version of MSN / Windows Messenger (Build 4.7.0105) has been released. Yet again there are no details of what has changed since the last release. Download the XP version or 95/98/Me/2000/NT4 version.

To all the people that program bots and whatnot in Visual Basic, we would like to remind you of a few venerabilities in Visual Basic’s compiled exe. If you have any text that you want to hide, use some sort of encryption to hide it. The things that you can see using any regular program like notepad are form elements, forms, modules, .vbp location, some odd code and variables.

New downloads

I’ve added three new downloads to the Add-ons section:
Xtra!, this hooks on to messenger like Plus! but has more and better features like an Anti-Lagger, contact-list view type and lots lots more.
Notify V2 gives you a messenger popup if someone activates one of its events, for eg: goes offline, opens a chatwindow with you etc.
Aghh Who’s Blocked Me, this is one of those programs that creates interesting popups, and if someone who blocked you clicks it, they will show up in a list.

Deleted user trick

A way to find out if any of your users has deleted you over msn was braught to my attention and posted in the forum by Ryan. If you wish to clear your contactlist of the users that have blocked you, or rat them out, check this post on the forum out. Ryan thinks there are more, we’ll keep you posted.
